We start off with Jesus asking, in verse 38, a crucial question everyone who wants something is asked one time or the other - what do you seek?

God is the one who knows,not you.You might have your own plans and ideas of how things ought to go.Reality however is that you can't be knowing more than God does.Even in/about your own life.

John 12:40 where we see that the expectation of the Messiah was different from the reality of Him.This caused most to doubt and not only that,but some had been hardened from believing.

knowledge of our identity in Christ becomes a strength as it no longer means a battle of identity but reveals an existent relationship with an everlasting Father. So submit.
